Process of Pvc Door
The journey of a PVC door begins with the selection of raw materials. High-grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin serves as the base, combined with various additives such as UV stabilizers, impact modifiers, and color pigments. These compounds are blended to enhance weather resistance, structural strength, and visual appearance.
Once the mix is prepared, it moves into the extrusion phase — A crucial stage where the PVC compound is melted and shaped into door profiles using precision molds. These profiles define the overall thickness, texture, and surface finish of the door. At this point, many manufacturers also integrate steel or aluminum reinforcements into the profiles to improve durability and prevent deformation over time. This step is critical for doors that will be used in high-traffic or heavy-duty applications.
After the extrusion process, the components are cut to exact dimensions according to the door design. Lock openings, handles and windows are automated, and the various components (frames, panels and brackets) are assembled using either heat welding or mechanical fasteners.
